You are just steps away from the beautiful golden sands of Westhaven with its sheltered shallow bay. It is perfect for simply relaxing, and the views are stunning. And with four bedrooms there’s plenty of room for family and friends too.
Should you want a break from the beach, it’s only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Carnoustie with shops and restaurants plus, of course, its famous links golf courses.
This historic building has been thoughtfully refurbished to bring out its best original features – like the archway where the lifeboats were brought in and out – whilst adding modern home comforts.
Set over two floors, there are four modern bedrooms ( 2 King beds, one that can be a twin and two doubles) with one of them en-suite. There’s a bright, spacious lounge with a log burner and a fantastic picture window looking out to the sea.
You have a fully equipped modern kitchen and a quirky dining table that seats 8, plus there’s a lovely large balcony with outdoor seating overlooking the seashore. You can look out for dolphins from here!
There’s so much to love about this beautiful beach house with a sparkling main bathroom and free parking outside.

LOCATION
Set at the end of a row of fishermen’s cottages in the peaceful coastal community of Westhaven attached to Carnoustie, the Beach Boathouse is an ideal location for a holiday home with direct beach access. There is a sandy beach right in front of the property, and you can walk or cycle for miles in each direction.
The beach is surrounded by rocks, which protect it from the strongest currents, making it a good place for bathing in the relatively shallow water and exploring rockpools at low tide.
The lovely town of Carnoustie is minutes walk away with several local shops, pubs and cafes. There’s a train station within walking distance away in Carnoustie, and the road network is excellent, making exploring by car a breeze.
The local area has lots of interesting attractions, including an amazing seafront adventure play park with crazy putting, Distillery tours, Arbroath’s Medieval Abbey, V & A museum, Dundee Science Centre attraction, plus shopping and entertainment centres in Dundee, and of course, several first-class golf courses including the legendary Carnoustie and St Andrews, situated across the Tay estuary.
Welcome to the Beach Boathouse, and have a fantastic stay!
