The Boathouse stands lower, right on the shore, in a very secluded cove surrounded by woodland, with a decked terrace to the front and a small rocky beach alongside. It is accessed by a sloping path through the trees. Water, woodland and a wonderful view - what more could you ask!
Inside, there is a bright and comfortable living room with wood-burning stove and French doors to the terrace, an excellent and superbly appointed kitchen-diner (French doors to the water's edge) and a double bedroom and shower room, while upstairs there is a twin bedroom with cabin beds and bathroom, both with loads of character and coombed ceilings. The furnishings and fittings throughout are of the highest quality.
The steps down to the cottage make it unsuitable for those of limited mobility and because of its proximity to the water it is unsuitable for children under 10. There is off road parking at the top of the steps.
