The Bothy (sleeps 2) is a romantic bolthole beside the River Stinchar near the village of Barr in South Ayrshire.
The Bothy sits at the heart of a stunning family run estate in the upper Stinchar Valley. A luxury retreat for two, this Scandinavian inspired bright, cosy and modern house is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Walk straight from the door to wonderful views or explore the many miles of countryside and attractions in South Ayrshire and Galloway.
On the ground floor is a large well-equipped kitchen with access to the garden and a decked veranda where there is outdoor dining table and chairs and BBQ.
There is a utility and drying room with sink and washing machine and a separate bathroom with a large walk in shower and toilet.
Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom. It has a Super King size bed with a mattress topper, white company bedding, sheepskin rugs and wonderful views of the valley and hills beyond. It's ensuite bathroom with a bath has bathrobes, fluffy towels and locally made toiletries.
One flight of stairs leads you to the first floor. Here there is a large comfortable sitting room with views of the river. Large windows flood this room with light during the day and the wood burner makes it cosy for evenings snuggled up reading or watching telly.
