Mossyard, home of the McConchie family for five generations, is a traditional working farm situated in a magnificent coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. Mossyard, located 4 miles west of Gatehouse of Fleet, is in the heart of rural Dumfries & Galloway, south west Scotland.

The Bothy has been formed from part of the original farm steading, situated within the working family farmyard. It has been finished to a very high standard, providing luxury accommodation with open views to the sea, an ideal 'couples getaway' location.

We hope you will enjoy everything that will make your stay feel like home from home. We have ensured there are all the comforts you need for a truly relaxing break. There are a large selection of DVD's, books and games for your entertainment and a welcome basket of local produce will await you on arrival. We pride ourselves in providing you with the highest quality equipment, the finest cotton bed linen and luxurious towels - all the small touches that will make your holiday perfect, including a Nespresso coffee machine.

The Bothy is let Friday - Friday or Monday - Monday. Short breaks are accepted throughout the year for either 3 nights Friday - Monday, or 4 nights Monday - Friday. The periods 3rd July 2022 and 2nd September 2022 are only bookable Saturday to Saturday.

Accommodation for 2: Ground floor: Kitchen/Dining Room with stone floor & underfloor heating, Shower Room with walk in shower, wash basin & WC. Stairs to first floor with Master Bedroom with King size bed & sitting area.

Services: Biomass Central Heating * Wi-Fi * Digital TV * DVD * CD * Radio* Dishwasher * access to Washing machine & Tumble drier by arrangement * Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods) * Microwave * Fridge with freezer box * Electric hob & fan assisted oven * Patio area with garden furniture & gas BBQ * 1 dog welcome on the ground floor only*
