The Bothy, Logiealmond Estate
Hunker down in The Bothy, a charming stone-built hideaway on an expansive Perthshire country estate. Beautifully converted from a Victorian farm building, with high-quality accommodation for up to two guests.
Hide away in style and comfort in this charming stone-walled farm bothy, with its characterful décor and gorgeous architectural details.
Nestled on the edge of rolling fields, this traditional single-storey cottage is accessibly located on a spectacular Perthshire estate, and its high-quality accommodation for up to two guests makes it the perfect rural retreat. With beautiful exposed timber roof trusses above you, smart stone tiles underfoot, and beautiful views of the estate and the hills beyond, this is the ultimate country hideaway.
The light, bright double bedroom enjoys dual aspect windows and en suite facilities, including a walk-in shower, and there are useful storage cupboards for boots and coats in the generous hallway.
The remaining space in The Bothy is given over to a spacious kitchen/dining/living area with a cosy woodburner, a contemporary stone fireplace, and glazed doors to the enclosed garden. The open-plan kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including two built-in ovens, microwave, washing machine, smart butler sink and Tassimo coffee machine, and there’s a neat little dining table for two.
Outdoors, you’ll enjoy access to an enclosed garden, fully equipped with garden furniture, while the estate and surrounding countryside offer ample sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities – including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.
Please note: The Bothy and four adjacent properties – Milton House, Merlin Steading, Falcon Steading and The Old Farmhouse – can be booked together to create luxury high quality accommodation for up to 28 guests. This will include access to a new dining experience room/building which is also the perfect venue for wellness retreats and small weddings or celebration parties. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate stag or hen parties at Lapwing cottage.
Equipment such as BBQs, cots, private chef, etc. are all available on request and there is electric car charger on-site. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed.
