Situated on the edge of the West Highland village of Gairloch (shops, hotels, pub, cafe) in about 0.5 acre of enclosed garden, the accommodation is practical as well as stylish, with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and down.
Nearby is the extensive beach at the appropriately named Big Sand and the tiny, spectacular road to the Rua Reidh lighthouse. Gairloch village offers golf, pony trekking and boat trips to view the area's plentiful marine and avian wildlife. There is both freshwater and sea fishing and those wonderful nearby mountains provide ample opportunities for climbing and walking.
