This sensitively and lovingly restored 18th Century doocot has been transformed into a contemporary, stylish home - perfect for guests seeking tranquillity after a busy, active day.

The Doocot has been designed as a place for all seasons attracting writers, artists, musicians and poets. It's perfect for couples, solo travellers, Mums with daughters, Dads with sons, golfing buddies or best of friends.

The airy, light filled sitting room makes the most of it's extraordinary structure, perched as it is amongst the tree tops and with far reaching views down to the sea. It's serene colours echo a timeless sense of place as historic features are gently bathed in warm sunlight.

Attention to detail prevails throughout from handmade sliding doors to the bespoke staircase. All the furnishings and fittings, from hanging rails to paintings have been collected and curated with local craftsmen, artists and suppliers at the heart of the design rational. Materials have been locally sourced and historic building techniques used to create a serene sense of space.

Setting the bedroom apart is a unique ceiling feature - a constellation of twinkling stars which is viewed from the 2 metre long (6 ft, 6.74") superking bed. This bed can be reconfigured into two single beds on request. The slate floor is warmed by underfloor heating and the wet room energised by a high pressure shower.

For early morning coffee or sundowner drinks you can perch on cushions and rugs just outside the bedroom. For picnics and more private hideaways we can show you secret spots in the garden.

Dogs, bicycles and golf clubs are all welcome and we are on hand to help with any request.

Parking is close to the main door.
