Gleann Seilleach Business Park and Willowglen are a ten minute walk away, whilst a short drive would take you to the Western Isles Hospital and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar which house the main Government Offices for the whole of the Outer Hebrides.
Follow the single track road (left turn at Lava’s Garage) and you will find yourself on the Pentland Road. This single track road cuts through the heart of the moorland, a left turn and you will pass Loch Clachan and the three wind turbines owned by the Point and Sandwick Community. Further on you will get stunning views of the Harris Hills before joining the main road to Callanish and Uig. Should you carry straight on along the Pentland Road you will come to Carloway and join the main circular tourist route around the West Coast. Please note the Pentland Road is very much a local route across the moor and is not suitable for heavy traffic, or in icy conditions.
