The Farmhouse B&B
It is only a short drive from Glasgow (1 hour 15 mins approx) and from Edinburgh (1 hour 30 mins). It's a 15 minute drive from the old market town of Crieff, a 15 minute drive from the cathedral town of Dunkeld and the capital of the county, Perth is about 25 minutes away, a car/bike is essential.
The area offers an abundance of outdoor activities and beautiful places to visit. Not only can you visit whiskey distilleries, Glenturret, Aberfeldy, Blair Atholl, Dalwhinnie to name a few, but it is ideal for mountain biking, bird & wildlife watching, you will experience nature, space and landscapes that are good for the soul. Perthshire is great for hill walking, as it is home to 28 of the 282 Munros across Scotland
The space
Corriemuckloch Farmhouse is the home of John and Theresa Moir, who will give you a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. There are 2 en-suite bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom has a private bathroom in the hallway. All bedrooms are located on the first floor and are reached via the main staircase. All of our rooms have king size ziplock beds that can be converted in single beds, one room has a pull-out guest bed, converting it to a family room.
Guest access
The reception rooms are located on the ground floor. There is a comfortable library, where you can read undisturbed or play board games. The lounge has a log burner with a television. Both rooms can be used by our guests. The dining room is where we serve breakfast.
Interaction with guests
Corriemuckloch Farmhouse is our home and as such, one or both of us will be here at all times, unless we are running errands. We will help you with anything you might need or want to know. We enjoy entertaining guests and friends and hope you will enjoy your stay with us and look upon our home as your home from home.
Internet and phone signal
The landline internet is very poor here, due to the fact that we are remote, but we do have a good phone signal and 4G with Vodafone.
