The Grey Hen is a luxury bed & breakfast in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Our very comfortable accommodation is near Glen Affric, Glen Cannich and Glen Strathfarrer, famous for their munros. There are 16 Munros within a 30 minute drive. We are close to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, the NC500 route and Outlander locations such as the Corrimony Cairn. RSPB Corrimony Reserve is within a mile. A warm and welcoming house full of original artwork , the decor is slighly Scandi with hints of cool Caledonia, lots of wood and light. We enjoy looking after our guests from all over the world and are always happy to help. Three bedrooms are available: Ground floor twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room. First floor king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with slipper bath First floor room with twin zip-link beds/super king with en-suite toilet and shower in room. (Only two rooms will be made available at one time during the remaining Covid-19 restrictions to allow disinfecting/cleaning time between guests.)

Tea /coffee making facilities and hairdryers are provided in each room, and we supply locally produced soap and shampoo for guests' use. Guests are welcome to enjoy the drawing room with log-burning stove, tv and books and games. We have masses of maps and walking guides. Full Scottish breakfast cooked on the Aga is served in the dining room looking out over the garden and woods. We provide binoculars and bird guidebook at the table to help you identify the many wild birds around the house. On request we also offer supper to guests. For hillwalkers we have good drying facilities for clothes and boots. For drivers we have masses of parking. For cyclists we have secure bike parking.
