French doors open onto a patio and secluded garden with an ancient woodland beyond. This woodland is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is home to a rich variety of animals and plants. Guests have been excited to see red squirrels, pine martin and deer, and birds such as woodpeckers, jays, many varieties of tits, including long tailed tits, and finches, robins and wrens are regular visitors to the feeders and the garden.
There's lots to do - walking around the lochs or up mountains, trips on Loch Katrine, Go Ape adventure park, cycling routes, David Marshall Lodge forest park. Visitors enjoy Stirling Castle and you can go on a day out to Edinburgh or easily access Loch Lomond and the West Highlands.
