The Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage was built about 60 years ago for Principal Lightkeeper and his family. Other buildings in the compound are Noss Head lighthouse, an engine room and stable block, and our neighbours in the Occasional Keeper’s Cabin next door and in the 19th Century cottage by the Lighthouse.
ACCOMMODATION
The Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage has 3 bedrooms and up to 6 people can stay at any time of year. Two of the bedrooms can be set up as doubles or twins, and the third bedroom has two large bunks for children or adults.

NOSS HEAD
Noss Head is surrounded by water on three sides but is just three miles from Wick. It is a haven for birds, wildflowers and other wildlife and the cottage is walking distance from the ruined Castle Sinclair Girnigoe and the almost hidden Sandigoe Beach.
Noss Head makes a perfect base for exploring the eastern leg of the North Coast 500, with John o'Groats just 20 miles away to the North and Inverness a day trip away to the south. There are castles, brochs and beaches to visit and you can take boat trips to watch the wildlife at sea, or just walk out of the cottage for bird-watching on land.
