The Loading Bay is part of the former Hassendean Railway Station and has been carefully restored to create a charming cosy holiday home, near Hawick (5 miles).

The Loading Bay has been lovingly restored to create a cosy hideaway with fascinating railway memorabilia. The accommodation is split into an open plan living area upstairs at ‘Platform Level’ with cosy seating, a well-equipped kitchen area and dining alongside and downstairs, at ‘Goods Yard Level’, is a spacious double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room. Outside the deck (furniture) overlooks a lawn where the tracks once ran and the footbridge that crosses them is the only surviving Victorian timber footbridge of its kind.
