At one with nature with picture-perfect views across the loch
The stylish interior draws inspiration from the gentle sights and sounds of nature, using tactile fabrics and furnishings to great effect. Rich earthy colours have been skillfully mixed with natural textures and furnishings to create an incredibly atmospheric space.
The sitting room is wonderfully inviting with luxe panelling in deep Hague blue adding an air of sophistication, complemented by a blue velvet sofa and wood burner for a touch of toasty Scandi hygge.
The smart kitchen with dining space continues the theme with botanical prints bringing the outside in, extending through the hall and upper landing with a fantastic feature wallpaper from GP & J Baker adding a decadent finish.
The bedroom has been designed to take advantage of the views and light with dormer Velux windows and a sumptuous super king bed offering an inviting space for rest and relaxation.
The adjoining bathroom is a generous space with a free-standing bathtub perfectly positioned for soaking up the view. A large walk in shower with scalloped mermaid tiles and gold-toned finishes add a touch of art-deco opulence.
Outside, a terraced garden sits to the right of the cottage leading to a patio. This is bounded by extensive woodlands, often favoured by Sir Walter Scott as he rode his horse in the immediate vicinity of his nearby home at Abbotsford.
