Accommodation: 5 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 single, 3 twins (sleeps 9)
A classically beautiful traditional Scottish manse, this wonderful holiday house has been recently and comprehensively renovated to provide a fantastic property in a great location. This self catering holiday house is set well off the road near the charming village of Poolewe and its traditional Highland garden is surrounded by trees on three sides, with the fourth side opening out to the beautiful spate river Ewe. The river is fenced off but you may see salmon jumping in the pools below and in colder months deer on the hills behind. The village is a delight with its setting on the clear seashores of Loch Ewe and Inverewe gardens overlooking one side of the bay making it one of the most beautiful parts of the West Coast. For walkers and climbers this is a delight with the great wilderness areas inland, mountains such as Slioch and the beautiful Loch Maree all in the vicinity. For a quieter holiday there are some of the most glorious beaches in Britain along this coastline.
The Manse is a special property, with its large kitchen/dining room which extends the full depth of the house. Newly refurbished and improved, it is a great space to socialise over a meal. The sitting room is equally spacious and welcoming, with an open fire and plenty of comfy seating. The bedrooms are all fresh, clean and bright with two on the first floor and three on the ground floor. This is very much a house to relish – from its fantastic location to its extremely comfortable and roomy interior you cannot fail to enjoy Poolewe Manse, the perfect self catering holiday home to explore the beautiful Wester Ross.
