The Moat House Annan is an 18th century historic house built on the moat bank of an ancient Motte & Bailey castle (1125) which was once the original seat of the ancestors of Robert the Bruce - King of Scotland. It was once the home of James Grahame a famous Scottish poet who wrote the reknown poem "The Sabbath"

This recently refurbished house has been delightfully appointed to a very high standard and has been tastefully decorated to create a vibrant location for any large group wanting a self catering holiday in the hidden gem that is Dumfries and Galloway.
