Close to village amenities, activities and local events. Centrally located for sightseeing and enjoying the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage is rented from Saturday to Saturday with a meet and greet service to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
The Old Bakery is a comfortable spacious stone-built cottage that has been sympathetically converted from a former 250 year old bakehouse to provide a characterful, homely, well equipped self-catering property. WiFi available. Our cottage sits quietly off the Main Street near the centre of the village of Killin. The property features a private fully enclosed sun-trap garden with trees and shrubs and is within easy walking distance of all the facilities of Killin as well as the stunning countryside and Loch Tay.
Activities in the area include golf (there is a 9-hole golf course in Killin), fishing (at nearby Loch Tay), cycling (the Sustrans Route 7 Cycle Way can be accessed nearby), and mountain climbing (a number of Munros in the area for serious hikers). There are also a number of historical sites, such as the old waterwheel, Moirlanich Longhouse, and the Crannog Centre on Loch Tay.
