Welcome to the Otter hide. Situated in the small crofting community of Maraig, in North Harris, the Otter hide is a well-proportioned, luxury cabin for two in a spectacular, lochside setting.

Hand-crafted with love and care, the Otter hide is a luxurious wood clad cabin with state of the art facilities. Our modern, low energy electric heating ensures the Otter hide is always cosy and warm, while our WiFi and smart TV keep you connected.

Our well equipped kitchen is a great place to experiment with local produce, such as langoustines, scallops, crab, lobster and venison. With a four ring hob combined with a flatbed combi microwave oven and grill, larder fridge and larder freezer. Our compact kitchen provides all the facilities you need to cook up a well deserved feast after a long day exploring

Then to the seating area where a spacious sofa awaits for you to cosy up and talk of the days adventures or catch up on what is happening in TV land

A comfortable double bed awaits in a screened area with en-suite bathroom and shower providing a cosy bedroom for two.

The cabin is setup to help you make the most of your stay on Harris. A sheltered entrance provides an outdoor space from which to appreciate the stunning views of Loch Seaforth and the surrounding hills leading to a boot room area where you can change out of your outdoor gear in comfort before entering the cabin.
