The Posting House has been designed to offer a luxurious but comfortable stay combining the welcoming atmosphere of a home with the luxurious touches of a hotel. Located on the banks of Loch Awe surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

The Posting house is situated in the sleepy village of Kilchrenan which is located inland of the picturesque banks of Loch Awe. Once the village post office the building is over 100 years old and has just undergone a complete refurbishment.

The Posting House is a detached cottage with three spacious bedrooms, one bathroom with bath and a large living, kitchen and garden are to relax in.

We are dog friendly and are surrounded by three dog friendly establishments, including the well known eatery The Kilchrenan Inn which is located across from the house.

A remote but well-connected village and offers a peaceful setting to relax and unwind with family, friends and pets, surrounded by views of the beautiful Loch Awe and the dramatic peeks of Ben Cruachan. With the added advantage of being within walking distance of a cosy pub and idylic hotel.

There are many outdoor activities to do in the area including walking, paddleboarding, Kayaking, hill walking, cycling and fishing to name a few.

Located only 12 miles from Oban a bustling fishing village that allows access to many of Scotland’s islands.

Glen Nant National Forest is 7 minutes drive from the house.

Airds Bay is located 7 miles along the road and is a lovely spot for paddleboarding or dog walks.

Ben Cruachan - 9 miles
