The Quarterdeck

The Quarterdeck is hand built in a nautical style. It has a unique kitchen/living room area that has cupboards made from whisky barrels, french oak slab worktops and shelving. The kitchen is fully equipped with mini electric oven/ airfryer, double halogen hob,coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, pots, pans & utensils. The sitting area has a twin seat antique sofa, wood burning stove and wall panel heater.
There's a wetroom with underfloor heating, rainfall shower, wc, shaver socket & kasbah basin.
A door from sitting area leads to a utility room where there's a stacked washing machine and dryer, full size Samsung fridge freezer, small washbasin and shelf storage.
The bed room is accessed via oak staircase with hand carved oak and chain balustrades. There are two single antique oak beds which can be joined to make a super king-sized bed. On the headboards of each bed are reclaimed ocean liner reading lamps. There's a pirates chest with spare blankets. The velux windows are fitted with black out blinds. Bed linen & toiletries are provided.
The property has a porch with hooks to hang wet foul weather gear. This area also houses wood for the stove, a boot dryer, outside tap and small private garden with table and chairs.
The cabin has good WiFi and mobile signal.
Parking is on our croft next to the roadside.
