This warm, wooden and stone-clad cottage sits in beautiful gardens and woodland at the foot of the Campsie hills. The open plan living, dining, kitchen area has a central stove with brick feature wall and hand-made dining furniture. There is a double room with king size bed and a twin room. The family bathroom has a separate shower and bath. The cottage has level access and an accessible bathroom.
Outside is a garden area which is part of a larger woodland estate, which you are welcome to explore, with beautiful burn and bluebell wood. The area around is gorgeous rural countryside at the foot of the Campsies, with fantastic walking and cycling on the doorstep, but is also close to Glasgow and 10 minutes drive from Croy station where trains every half-hour will take you to Edinburgh. It is well placed for exploring central Scotland including Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and exploring further afield.
For those looking for a family gathering there are two further cottages, one sleeping four and one sleeping five that you can book together with The Roundhouse for a party of up to 13.
