The Space:
Spacious and tranquil, The Stables implores you to unwind. Elegantly furnished, this apartment is ideally located moments from the river Dee amidst the boundless nature that Aboyne has to offer. This home is the perfect base for families or friends to share a Cairngorm adventure.
Living and Eating:
Inside you'll find a spacious open plan living area equipped with a dining table, sumptous sofas, a cosy woodburning stove and a brilliant kitchen. The space is flooded with natural light thanks to beautiful glass french doors that lead onto your private outdoor terrace. Unwind to peaceful tree views, birdsong and look out for the Deer that gently stroll by.
In the living area you will find art of local scenes painted by an exceptionally talented Aboyne artist. There is also a Smart TV.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Soft carpet underfoot, step into the master bedroom that boasts a king size bed and luxurious white company sheets. You'll find a good size family bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and toilet, a few steps up from the bedroom.
A second bedroom has a double bed as well as a single bed, allowing the apartment to comfortably sleep 4 people. This bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom equipped with a walk in shower unit as well as a toilet.
Access and Layout:
The apartment is on the ground floor, however, there are steps within the property; There is a step up to the front door. Once inside there are a few steps up to the second bedroom. There is a step down to the living/dining area. The master bedroom is on the ground floor, while the family bathroom is located up a few stairs.

Aboyne is a magical place to spend some time. Incredible mountain bike trails, walking paths, wild swimming and a picture perfect village green. We are adventurers and are happy to share our favourite routes and wild simming spots with you - so please feel free to message any questions or route requests.
You can wander along the river Dee to find one of Aberdeenshire's best pubs, The Boat Inn.
Continue to the heart of Aboyne and you'll find a delicious cafe called The Spider on a Bicycle - which has recently been taken over by new owners! Or head to Finzean to Finzean Farm Shop and Cafe for some delicious local produce. The cafe is exceptionally located with mountain views all around and serves up award winning cuisine.
For grocery shopping Aboyne has a a refillable shop, a butcher and a very well equipped co-op as well as a more traditional General Store called George Strachn. Look out for the fish van, where you can buy fresh fish.
