In clear weather the Heads of Ayr and even Culzean Castle can be seen in the distance. The cottage has its own private garden to the rear and there is plenty of parking right outside the cottage in the courtyard. Although in the countryside, a supermarket is a short car journey away, as are numerous restaurants and cafes. The cottage is an ideal place to stay if you wish to explore the islands of Arran, Cumbrae and Bute and the area to the south is famous for its golf courses at Troon and Turnberry.
The farm is run as a livery yard and we also have cats, a dog (Ghillie who is a friendly Labrador), sheep, chickens and ducks.
The cottage has a kitchen/dining room, bedroom (with, we have been told, possibly the most comfortable bed in Scotland), bathroom with spa bath and a shower, living room with a wood burning stove and a sunroom that opens out onto the garden.
