Perhaps you yearn for a reviving outdoor escape or simply a relaxing break away from busy everyday life in a five-star hotel. Our aim is to deliver each guest exclusive luxury with a personal touch.
The Torridon was built as a shooting lodge in 1887 and has been lovingly restored to its Victorian splendor. The hotel features 18 individually-designed bedrooms with Victorian-style opulence set against contemporary palettes and furnishings.
The 1887 restaurant is the hotel’s AA 3 rosette restaurant led by Head Chef Paul Green, champion of local suppliers. The hotel is renowned for its sourcing of local produce with many ingredients coming from the Torridon kitchen garden and farm, home to Highland Cows and pigs. Guests are welcome to visit the 2 acre kitchen garden before they dine to give them a deeper experience at 1887.
In true Scottish style, the hotel has a beautiful oak paneled whisky and gin bar with over 365 whiskies and 120 gins, including Torridon’s very own gin Arcturus which is made from foraged botanicals from the surrounding land, sea and mountains including Scots lovage, kelp seaweed, bilberries and rowanberries.
The Torridon is a fantastic setting to explore the outdoors, and The Torridon Outdoors team are able to offer a variety of outdoor activities including hillwalking, mountain biking and kayaking.
