Cosy holiday cottage with all home comforts in the heart of Kinblethmont estate with its woodlands and walled garden amenity area. 10 minutes from the beach and with easy access to golf, castles, hillwalking and visitor attractions.

The West Lodge is a delightful detached country cottage with its own large private garden. It is comfortably furnished with two bedrooms, cosy sitting room, dining/ activities room, bathroom with shower and modern kitchen. There is also a sofa bed for an extra child. To either side and behind the garden are the mature mixed woodlands of Kinblethmont estate. The West Lodge is set back from the road with a lovely large mature garden all round the house containing shrubs and plum trees. The garden is open to the road however there is a walled in area for small children/pets (the wall is about 2 foot tall). There is also outdoor seating and a BBQ. Behind the house is a farm road that leads through unspoilt woodland into the heart of Kinblethmont estate.There there are woodland walks and the 2 acre walled garden (about 1 mile away) with childrens play area, badminton, table tennis and ball games. Up to two pets are welcome.

Kinblethmont estate is in an area of Angus that tends to be much drier than other parts of Scotland and there is plenty to do on the estate in lovely weather - playing in the walled garden, walks and bird/ wildlife spotting. Our local town Arbroath is 5 miles way. As well as being very convenient for its late opening supermarkets it has an atmospheric harbour, some lovely restaurants, historic ruins and and excellent children's play park.

Our guests have often been amazed at all there is to do here - we have a taste of all that Scotland is famous for whithin an hour's drive. - beautiful hills, excellent golf courses, castles, beaches, and distilleries with historic Dundee with its visitor attractions only 1/2 hour away - no wonder many of them want to come back.
