The Whitehouse is a newly refurbished/modernised open plan accommodation with the living space on the first floor looking out through the tree tops into it's own 5 acreas of arboretum and natural water garden. A large light sociable space with great wildlife watching opportunities. The house sleeps from 2 to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (1 on the first floor and 3 on the ground floor)- 1 twin, 1 king with en-suite shower room, 2 twins/ super kings. A family bathroom with over bath shower on the first floor and a third shower room on the ground floor. The house has full central heating and good hot water supply for when you want to relax and rest after days out hiking, cycling or fishing.
The kitchen is well equiped for group catering with a large induction hob two ovens, fridge freezer and dishwasher and a breakfast bar seating four. A microwave and bread machine can be provided on request. The washing machine is sited out of earshot in the utility room down stairs.
The Whitehouse has a WW11 history and was constructed in the 1940's it was originally a pumping station for water and was to supply ships in Loch Ewe moored at the jetty below the house. The burns that run down the surrounding moorland through the garden have an ever changing flow creating a musical and very tranquil feel to the fasinating arboretum. we have around 9 monkey puzzle trees. Besides being some where to explore or paddle this garden has a lot to offer the horticulturally minded visitor.
