There are lots of outdoor activities right on the doorstep, including; a top-class mountain biking trail suitable for all levels, the Sutherland Kart Track and Little Ferry Nature Reserve. Golspie is also renowned for its walking routes, with Balblair woods, the Big Burn, Ben Bhraggie and many more. If you venture up the Ben, you’ll find the monument of the Duke of Sutherland at the top and stunning views across Sutherland and to the North Sea.
Dunrobin Castle is found just north of Golspie and is one of Scotland’s must-see castles. Additionally, it is only a 15-minute drive south to the historic town of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Course.
