Thistle House is a stunningly located Guest House offering bed and breakfast in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Fyne towards Inveraray,with its famous castle, jail and of course restaurants.
Our lovely gardens have some special visitors such as red squirrels and roe deer...and sometimes seals and otters can be seen on the shores of the Loch at the front of the house.
Thistle House is a beautiful Victorian house that has been sympathetically upgraded and refined with modern amenities. We have seven en-suite rooms available, four with Loch views and three with views of the wooded garden.
Traditional Scottish breakfast,sourced from local suppliers,is served in our dining room overlooking the Loch.
The guest house is perfectly located for visits to Inveraray, Dunoon, Oban and many more of the beautiful areas surrounding the west coast of Scotland.
There are walks through the Loch Lomond national park and Argyll forest nearby.
Local crafts, hill walking, pony trekking, fishing, sailing and boat trips and of course golf are all available within the area.
