Tigh na Bruaich is a traditional crofthouse set in the rural village of Balallan, on the East side of the Isle of Lewis.
With its central position on the island, it offers an ideal base for touring the Isles of Lewis and Harris We offer one comfortable suite, which has a double/family room, with two double beds, and en-suite facilities. There is personal use of your own Lounge/Dining room, offering lots of space and privacy.

We offer a one to a three-course evening meal. Cooked snacks are available at any time of the day. Vegetarian food is a speciality.
Packed lunches are available, which includes a 1lt flask of tea or coffee.
At the back of the Crofthouse, there is a loch where tourists can go 'otter watching' or 'looking out for seals'. In particular, for keen bird watchers there are golden eagles and we also have a garden full of feeders to attract many different bird species.
Finally, the Hebridean Way and other local short walks are nearby for Tourists staying in our B&B. We are also a prime location for walkers or cyclists coming off the Hebridean Way at Balallan for a coffee shop stop.
There is a small Gallery and Coffee Shop called 'Island Arts' attached to the house, where we sell mostly our own work, Original Artwork, Prints, Published Cards and handmade Crafts made by Debbie .
Debbie can offer an interesting Painting Holiday for any Artist, Beginner or Improver, who would like some private tuition as well as accommodation in our B&B.
