Tigh-A-Chreagan is a traditional cottage in a secluded position just half a mile from the sea, near Applecross (4m) on the stunning Applecross peninsula.
Inside is a welcoming sitting room with multi-fuel stove, a well-equipped dining kitchen and a family bathroom, while upstairs are two bedrooms with coombed ceilings and great views out over the hills. The cottage is accessed by a steep pathway and sits in a pretty walled grassed garden (furniture), from the end of which you can see the sea.
There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and fishing in easy walking distance. Applecross is home to two famous restaurants and mountaineering, sea kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling are available nearby. The peninsula is known for its eagles, otters and seals and there are plenty of sandy beaches to explore, including Applecross Bay.
