Tuarach is a first floor apartment offering a very comfortable base right in the heart of Comrie. Entrance to the property is through a main door, leading to a winding stair way to the first floor landing. Enter the apartment through the double doors numbered 1 into a small lobby area and through a second door to the property’s hall way. All on the first floor you will find the kitchen, sitting room and one double bedroom to the rear of the building, and dining room, bathroom and second bedroom with twin beds to the front of the building. A cot and high chair can be provided free of charge. The apartment is double glazed throughout with replaced handmade sash and case windows. The well-fitted kitchen is a good size and is supplied with the full range of crockery, cutlery and glass ware needed. The dining room is light and airy with lovely views across to Melville’s monument and the Munro of Ben Chonzie and the adjoining sitting room has a comfortable uphostered suite and a fireplace with coal effect stove. There is gas central heating throughout. The good sized bathroom has been completely refitted with corner bath and shower over and is nicely decorated. The two bedrooms, one to the front of the building and one to the rear are light and comfortable with bed linen and towels supplied. There is a walk-in cupboard in the hall between the twin bedroom and the bathroom (housing the boiler) which is perfect to store and dry outdoor gear. There is no garden with this apartment but opposite is St Kessog’s square with handy parking and a lovely small garden area with benches. Alternatively, a narrow lane to the rear of the building leads to the riverside with its wide grassy banks and benches. On the doorstep of the property you will find cafes, restaurants, bars, a fruit shop, butchers, post office, gift shop, delicatessen, bank and spa, to mention a few.
