We are situated by the River Tweed overlooking Cardrona golf course with stunning views of the Border Hills. We are only 3 miles from Peebles, in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Scottish borders. As we are surrounded by hills and forest and situated by the River Tweed there is an abundance of wildlife in the area including foxes, badgers, roe and sika deer, kingfisher, heron and of course the famous Tweed Valley ospreys. Pursuits such as golf, fishing, mountain biking, cycling tours, walking and horse-riding are popular in the area or simply take time to stroll around the bustling little town of Peebles which is renowned for its picturesque and unspoilt character and boasts a variety of independent shops with ample restaurants and coffee shops to suit any budget. There are many festivals and attractions in the area throughout the year including the famous Peebles Beltane Festival which is held in June. The Tweed Valley has something for everyone.

Glentress Forrest Mountain Biking Centre is only one mile away and caters for all grades of riders. The beautiful Kailzie Gardens are nearby and Traquair Huose (Scotland's oldest inhabitated house) is only three miles away. Visit between April and September and see the famous Tweed Valley Ospreys. We are ideally situated with easy access to Edinburgh (only 40 minutes away) and Glasgow (90 minutes).
