In a quiet gathering of houses known simply as Bay is Two Bay Cottage, a charming detached house set in a rural spot at Waternish on wonderful Skye.

Two Bay Cottage is a charming detached house set in a quiet little gathering of houses in a rural spot at Waternish.

The cottage has been lovingly restored to its former glory with the main open plan living accommodation upstairs to make the most of the views. Seating is around the wood-burning stove at one end, with dining alongside and a spacious kitchen at the other end. Stairs lead down to the bedrooms and the enclosed garden looks towards the waters of Loch Bay.

You will receive a warm welcome and excellent food at the Stein Inn (2.5m) and there is a grocery shop at Dunvegan (6m) where a museum celebrates the life of the tallest Scotsman to have lived who was 7 foot 8! Near Claigan (11m) is a picturesque coral beach that just begs to be explored.
