Valley B & B is surrounded by green fields on three sides and is a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy the Shetland countryside. The four ensuite shower rooms all have a great view either looking up or down the valley or over the fields towards the hill and are warm and comfortable.

Hair dryers, kettle, Sky freesat tv, wifi, are all available in the rooms. Please ask if you need an iron and Board.
Hearty cooked breakfasts are done to order and are available from 7.00 until 9.00. Cereals, fruit, yogurt and juices are also on the menu.
Some self catering facilities are available in the breakfast room, a fridge, microwave, kettle, plates, cups, etc are all there for your use to create your own DIY meals should you not wish to eat out each night, Wine glasses are in the cupboard for that nice relaxing glass of wine after a day of walking and enjoying the clean crisp fresh air.
There are also fantastic boat trips from Lerwick Harbour which will take you out to see the cliffs of Noss and the amazing bird life. Bird life in abundance can also be seen on the islands of Fair Isle, Foula, Unst and Fetlar. If you are lucky enough to spot an otter then that could be the highlight of you holiday or you can hire extremely good guides who will take you to secret places and some of them guarantee you will see otters.
But if you just want to enjoy the Shetland scenery from the comfort of your car then Shetland is the ideal place, roads are not too busy and when you come to the end of a side road then there will probably be a lovely scene to entice you from the car with your camera for one more holiday photo.
There is also a wealth of history to explore with sites of archaeological interest, with museums situated all over the islands. The two biggest being in Lerwick and Scalloway. Smaller museums out in the country areas are also worth a visit and are usually manned by volounteers. Jarlshof is of special interest and is very close to the airport.
If you decide to have a day without the car then you can walk from Valley B & B up to the windmills to the South, a lovely walk and a great view from the top. You can also walk over the hill at the main road, where a path takes you down by the side of the golf course, this is a lovely walk.
Shetland has a wide variety of interests to suit most travellers and I, at Valley B & B will do my best to make your stay here comfortable and hopefully I can add some local knowledge.
Comfortable beds, hearty cooked breakfasts, a nice place to walk, and lots of interesting and a variety of places to visit including a variety of good places to eat in the evening, hopefully you will enjoy all that Shetland has to offer.
