In the heart of the Old Town, our stylish two bedroom, first-floor apartment is minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street Gardens, the EICC and Edinburgh's famous Grassmarket. Expect all the comforts of a boutique hotel, with plenty of space to relax and plan your next Edinburgh adventure.
On the first floor of one of Edinburgh’s traditional tenement buildings, this two-bedroom apartment is vibrant and fresh. The spacious, cosy interior is beautifully furnished and decorated in our individual style with a mix of new, vintage and up-cycled pieces. Expect all the comforts of a boutique hotel, with plenty of space to relax and plan your next Edinburgh adventure.
The spacious, well laid-out living room features two traditional sash and case windows overlooking Lady Lawson Street, which bring in lots of natural light. There’s a lovely fireplace with a colourful Mexican tiled hearth, two comfy mid-century style sofas, a vintage G Plan coffee table, dining table and chairs, smart TV with Netflix, WIFI and Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well-stocked with complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, tea and good coffee and you’ll find all the kit you need if you want to cook. The bright, rear-facing master bedroom has a very comfy king size bed with luxury Egyptian cotton linen, a powerful hairdryer and plenty of storage space. The front facing second bedroom has a double bed, ornate cornicing and lovely vintage furniture.
The spacious bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath. We provide a full range of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion) so you can travel light. Each guest gets a set of fluffy white towels.
We aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with many personal touches such as home baked treats and, for guests staying three nights or more, a bottle of fizz. We also offer plenty of local recommendations on our favourite places to eat, drink and visit while you are in our beautiful city.
Guest accessGuests have the whole apartment to themselves. Access to the apartment is via a secure door into traditional Edinburgh tenement. Our apartment is on the first floor.
All amenities in the apartment are there for you to use and enjoy including free WIFI & Netflix.
Interaction with guestsDuncan and Daniela live close by and are contactable throughout your stay. We will try our best to meet you on arrival so we can explain how everything works and offer advice on Edinburgh's sights and sounds.
We provide all of our guests with extensive recommendations based on our favourite places to eat, drink and visit in the city. Within the apartment, there are clear instructions for all of the appliances etc.
Other things to noteAlthough we have a minimum stay periods - please message us with any shorter requests as we may be able to fit you in!
Check in time is from 2pm but we try to be as flexible as possible. We can usually accommodate late arrivals, just let us know well in advance.
Check out is at 10:30am
As parents ourselves we understand there are certain things you need when traveling with young kids. Our apartment can easily accommodate a baby or young child and we can provide a travel cot, high chair etc if required. Contact us before booking and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
