This delightful end-terraced Edwardian-era cottage is located within the recently designated Pitlochry Conservation Area and enjoys one of the official "key views" over the town.
It is tucked away in a quiet residential corner of Pitlochry just a five-minute walk from the centre (with supermarket, shops, restaurants, as well as bus and railway stations).
At the front of the sunny cottage is a peaceful garden area with panoramic views across Pitlochry and the river Tummel to the Perthshire hills. To the back of the house there is a "common green" shared by the four houses of the terrace, which can be used as a drying area.
With total-control heating throughout and an open fire in the lounge, this cottage is a cosy base for off-season breaks.
Holidaymakers can choose to visit the local attractions such as the renowned Festival Theatre, two distilleries, Loch Faskally with dam and salmon ladder, or they can enjoy a variety of tasteful shops on the picturesque main street which has retained much of its Victorian character.
They can walk or fish locally, play golf at the local course which is ten minutes walk from the cottage, or venture further afield into the Highlands.
The accommodation consists of a cosy sitting room with an open fire and optional electric fire, a spacious dining kitchen, a main double bedroom and a small single bedroom with a full-size pull-out bed for a fourth person. The bathroom has a bath with power shower over, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and electric overhead radiator.
Adjacent on-street parking is available.
The property is a non-smoking house.
Linen and towels are provided, hot water and electricity are included in the price, as well as a starter pack of fuel for the open fire and a welcome tray with tea/coffee and biscuits.
NB: The cottage is not suitable for visitors who may have difficulty negotiating the wide, irregular steps of the gently sloping access path to the house and/or the relatively steep stairs inside.
