Svefnhus is a Suite on the first floor, consisting of 2 bedrooms, 1 king and 1single bed, with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The other bedroom consists of 1 double bed and 1 single bed with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. Each of the rooms has a TV and desk. There is a lounge with seaviews for your sole use. In the lounge there is a breakfast table and off the dining area there is a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge, with tea and coffee making facilities. There are continental breakfast items available as a serve yourself anytime you wish.
Bed linen, towels and bathroom products provided.
The garden area at the front of the house has outdoor sitting that you can wile away time with stunning views and maybe a drink or two.
There is Wi-Fi available throughout the house.
Located in Burray, meaning ‘Broch Island’ - connected to the mainland by the famous Churchill Barriers. Burray is magical with a wealth of history for you to explore. For kids why not visit the Fossil & Heritage Centre or the Burray playpark.
Only five mins drive from Pentland Ferries and Kirkwall city is a 14 minute drive, where you can visit Earls & Bishops Palaces Kirkwall , St Magnus Cathedral (St Magnus Cathedral tour times ), Orkney Museum, Highland Park Distillery and Scapa Distillery , to name a few of the attractions in town. There are many eateries, pubs, cafes also in Kirkwall, you can find out more here . If the weather isn't too kind, The Pickaquoy Centre offers excellent indoor facilities such as a swimming pool, cinema, various exercise classes and kids entertainment. The heart of Neolithic Orkney is only a 40 min drive from the house, heading to the West Mainland where you can visit Skara Brae, Maeshowe, Ring of Brodgar and Standing Stones of Stenness . A further drive of 15 mins will take you to the Brough of Birsay , Broch of Gurness and Earls Palace Birsay.
