Accommodation: 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles, 1 single, 1 twin (Sleeps 7)
Enjoying a magnificent position overlooking Scourie Bay and Handa Island and inland to the peaks of Ben Stack, Arkle and Foinaven, Wallis is a much loved family holiday home on the far North West corner of Scotland. The views from the house are breathtaking and photographers, fishermen, climbers, geologists, authors and birdwatchers will all appreciate the superb remoteness and wonderful scenery.
Below the cottage is a beautiful sandy beach and just across the bay grow the most northerly palm trees in Britain, testament to the mild climate enjoyed as a result of the Gulf Stream. Fishing is available locally and there are both coastal and hill walks to be enjoyed. Wallis enjoys an ideal location; with both the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, and the hub of the highland road network and breathtaking scottish scenery close by making it excellent to explore the wider area that Sutherland has to offer.
