Argyllshire Self Catering Cottage on a traditional Scottish hill farm by the shores of Loch Creran.
West Ferlochan is a traditional Scottish hill farm cottage which has recently been modernised throughout. The cottage is close to the shores of the Special Area of Conservation (SAC) Loch Creran in Benderloch. It is situated by the A828 Oban/Fort William road and therefore provides excellent access to the best of the West Highlands and a whole range of recreational facilities. The ferry port of Oban is the "Gateway to the Isles". Do watch our video.
The farm is a 220 acre grass and woodland Scottish hill farm. Willie Maclean, our Stockman, will be pleased to show you around the farm.
Guests have the sole use of the two small lawns to the front and rear of the cottage. There are many walks to be had on the farm from almost sea level up to the top of Sguir Mor. From here you will have spectacular views of Loch Creran, Mull and mountain views towards Ben Nevis.
