Uig is a must see, the scenery is breath taking, the shell beaches stunning, the Uig Heritage Centre and café with sumptuous but reasonably priced home baking is friendly, the Edge Café and craft shop at Aird Camp is worth a visit and the Abhainn Dearg distillery experience is truly unique.
Ness is the North has a number of attractions and an array of artisans work rooms including crafters weaving Harris Tweed and making unique products.
One of Lochs attractions i Seaforth Tweeds at Arivruach where Iain Màrtainn demonstrates his skill with collie dogs gathering wayward sheep. Continuing his family’s tradition of Harris Tweed weaving. The wool process from the fleece, dyeing, warping and weaving is demonstrated interspersed with family stories

In May the Harris Mountain Festival 2020 will have music, talks, walks and bike rides. In July the Hebridean Celtic Festival 2020 headline act is Robert Plant, Led Zepplin, In August Steòrnabhagh Air a Chuan 2020 a festival to launch the new marina in Stornoway with marine related events
The Peter May trilogy trail can be explored from North Lewis to South Harris. Visit the Call The Mid Wife location’s from St Clements Rodil Harris, to the thatched house village at Geàrrannan to experience the ambience of buildings of the ancient Hebrides.
