Offering very comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests with plenty of space for all, Westruther Mains has been fully refurbished and decorated to a high standard creating a lovely holiday setting for families and friends. Both the drawing room and snug sitting room have cosy open fires and enjoy views over the sunny south-facing garden. The wonderful large dining kitchen creates the heart of the ground floor and provides a charming backdrop for holiday meals. This welcoming, homely room is kept warm by the inviting four-oven AGA and French doors open into the garden making it easy to enjoy summer time al-fresco dining. Each of the five well-proportioned first floor bedrooms are attractively decorated and well furnished. The master bedroom and a further double bedroom benefit from en-suite bathrooms.
Westruther Mains is perfect for all ages. Young children will delight at the many toys and extensive outside play area with a trampoline, swing, sandpit and football goals, and all the family will enjoy the tremendous garden games room with its table tennis and mini-football.
The peaceful hamlet of Westruther is within close walking distance and has a traditional pub serving bar meals. There are many excellent attractions within a short drive and both Edinburgh and Newcastle are easily accessible.
