This luxurious conversion of an old farm building sits peacefully on the Whitmuir Estate near both Melrose and Selkirk in the lovely Scottish Borders.

The American owners have transformed one of the farm buildings into this luxury holiday cottage of great style and imagination, beautifully furnished with traditional pieces and full of character, which is sure to please the most fastidious of guests.
Whitmuir Steading affords a true taste of gracious living on a cottage scale. The sitting room and elegant dining room both have open fires and from the sitting room stairs lead up to the two comfortable bedrooms and bathroom. Perhaps the pièce de resistance up there however is the enormous and quite amazing games/additional sitting room with TV, pool table and toys and games, also accessible via a spiral staircase, where children (and adults!) will play happily for hours.
Outside, to the front of the cottage there is an elegant grassed courtyard with sweeping drive round, while to the back there is a small, secure and secluded grassed garden area (furniture).
