Inside:
In the cabin you will find all you need to enjoy your off grid adventure. A large picture window looks out at the gorgeous open skies Scotland is famous for, the view stretching across gorse and heather covered slopes to the majestic Pentland hill range in the distance. The Kingsize bed has luxurious down bedding and a hot water bottle for winter. Make yourself comfortable at the table with a coffee as you look through the recommendations we’ve left for you and plan your stay. In the evening cosy up in front of the fire with sheepskins and blankets while listening to records, or delve into the board games and books provided.
Outside:
Step outside to a wild garden on your doorstep. Pick apples straight off the tree and try your hand at making crabapple jelly or cook up a feast on the firepit with locally sourced ingredients from the nearby farm. Take one of our handmade stools up the moss and fern covered bank and listen out for the sounds of fieldfares, larks, peewits and curlews. Or wander down the silver birch path armed with binoculars to see if you can spot any of our resident deer, owls, foxes or badgers. Further afield there is the awe-inspiring Pentland Hill range to explore, Friendly neighbouring horses and Highland Cows to say hello to, or you can venture into the dramatic backdrop of the forest at the rear of the cabin.
