A peaceful area with beautiful sunsets and an uninterrupted view over Kilbrannan Sound to the Kintyre peninsula beyond. Willow Cottage is one of the few houses on the seaward side of the quiet coastal road in this undeveloped part of the island. Low cliffs are about fifty yards from the cottage, through the garden gate and across a grassy field, with easy access to the beach, which can also be reached via a short five-minute walk along the road. Super coastal and hill walking, abundant wildlife, several golf courses within easy reach; boat trips, pretty towns and villages dotted around the island. Perfect for a quiet, scenic holiday. A wonderful base from which to explore the island.
Willow Cottage is well-equipped to a high standard, and is all on one level. The cottage has one double bedroom with a double bed; a bathroom with bath; an all electric kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and other appliances; a lounge with TV and DVD player (many movies provided), radio, cassette and CD player, and coal-effect electric fire; a great sun room looking out over the sea to Kintyre (both the lounge and sun room have comfy, high-backed wing chairs, including a super recliner); a large utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer; central heating by storage heaters; a private garden overlooking the sea with bench and table, and a lawn bordered by a hedge and select shrubs; bed linen and electricity included.
