Woodlands is a non-smoking Bed & Breakfast throughout which has recently been renovated. Located in the heart of the Great Glen, we benefit from open space scenery of the hills and forests over Loch Ness with the advantage of being close to the quaint village of Drummnadrochit.
All B&B bedrooms are located on the first floor of the house. They accommodate a maximum of 2 people. Fern has a king size bed, Bluebell and Orchid (our room suite) have super king beds and all are en suite with showers.
Each room benefits from comfortable duvet, fluffy pillows, elegant bedlinen and runner; blackout blind to ensure a restful night’s sleep; a 32" flat screen Smart television with Freesat; USB sockets; central heating; hospitality tray with coffee, tea, fresh milk in flask and biscuits; hairdryer.
All en suite shower rooms have body wash dispenser, hand wash dispenser from a local company Ness Soap, 100% cotton hand and bath towels, honeycomb bathrobes, LED mirror, heat adjustable towel warmer.
In addition to the B&B room facilities, the following are available on request: iron and ironing board; boot dryer; luggage storage.
The B&B room rate includes daily housekeeping and breakfast which is cooked to order and served in the bright breakfast room on the ground floor, overlooking the garden.
Willow, our self-catering accommodation, hosts a maximum of 2 people, is located on the ground floor with private and direct access via steps from the front garden with views of the mountains of Loch Ness. It offers an open plan kitchen-dining-lounge, a bathroom with shower and one bedroom. The bedroom can be set with twin beds or a King size bed.
Woodlands is well located for guests wishing to explore the Highlands, cruise Loch Ness, walk the Great Glen Way, ride North Coast 500, visit Skye and the western Isles to name a few locations. Being 30 minutes from Inverness by car, guests have additional options to visit the Moray and Cormarty firths for some dolphin spotting, grab a tasty fish and chips in Applecross, join a day trip to Orkneys (if you don't mind an early start), walk the battelfield of Culloden, catch a film, a play or festive pantomine at the Inverness Eden Court theater.
Children older than 10 are welcome. Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets and we cannot accommodate batchelor(ette) or similar parties.
We have ample free on-site parking for all guests, free WiFi and are non-smoking throughout including no vaping and no electronic cigarettes.
