Woodsedge is located on the beautiful and peaceful Kirkennan Estate bordered by the tidal Urr Water. The cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms and is all on the ground level. It provides comfortable accessible accommodation within 35 acres of formal lawns, oak wood and a Victorian walled garden which guests are invited to enjoy. They are also welcome to make friends with our free range chickens and guinea fowl. Roe deer, a range of birds, bats, badgers and, if you are lucky, otters can all be been seen on the Estate. Kirkennan is located in one of the most scenic parts of Dumfries and Galloway with plenty to do in the local area, including many accessible attractions and activities for wildlife lovers and bird watchers. Enclosed secluded garden at back with garden furniture and BBQ provided. Woodsedge looks out onto fields and woodland at front. The Estate roads are suitable for wheelchairs, young bike riders and pushchairs. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Sitting/dining room with open fire (initial fuel included), kitchen, 1 twin bedroom with adjustable height bed, 1 double & 1 single. Accessible shower/wet room. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Free wifi. BBQ. Garage (1 car) & parking for 1 other. Bike lock up.
