You will enjoy a fantastic relaxing holiday at our traditional High Street cottage in Portnahaven! Yardarm Cottage has been recently refurbished to a premium standard. We offer three bedrooms (two king beds and one twin room) all en-suite. Downstairs we have a huge lounge with TV and working fireplace and a separate modern fitted kitchen with family dining table.

Our cottage enjoys lighthouse views and is conveniently located on Portnahaven High Street only a minute's stroll from the local pub and the harbour. You will fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing over neighbouring Orsay Island and the calls of the local seal population.

Portnahaven is Islay's hidden gem. The town was listed in first position in The Herald newspaper's 'The 20 most picturesque Scottish villages to visit.' The drive from Port Charlotte to Portnahaven is the most beautiful on Islay. Our nearest distilleries are Bruichladdich and Kilchoman - a short drive or bus ride away. Nature and the wild North Atlantic are on your doorstep.

Yardarm Cottage is the perfect escape from the fast pace of modern life. Should you not wish to escape entirely, we have excellent internet and decent 4G phone signal.
