For over 60 years, the British Touring Car Championship has been regarded as the best saloon car racing championships in the world. 2022 will be no different, however, it will also mark the dawn of the new hybrid era for thr BTCC. Top professional race teams with some of the best racing drivers do battle at up to 140mph throughout a packed grid of Toyotas, Hondas, BMWs, Fords, Infinitis, SEATs and more.
In 2022, this top quality event returns on July 30th and 31st as Britain’s premier racing series tackles the twists and dips of the Knockhill Circuit. The new engine regualtions are designed to spice up the overtaking even more, if that is possible, with what is already one of the most action-packed championships in the world. There are 4 Scots on the grid with Gordon "Flash" Shedden, Rory Butcher, Aiden Moffat and young Dexter Paterson, all battling the best of the best saloon car racers in the UK including Ash Sutton, Colin Turkington and Jason Plato.
