Gritty and witty, this comedy drama set in the east end of Glasgow follows one day in the working life of three women, each dealing with their own private issues. Marie is full of regret over unfulfilled potential, Agnes is trapped in an abusive relationship, whilst Tina has been let down by the men in her life and has recently lost her father. Ten years later, independence is a reality in Scotland and we pick up the same three women’s stories as an older and more bitter Marie is forced to question if she will, at last, make her own dreams a reality. Get ready for a roller coaster of emotions- you won’t forget these women in a hurry!
