Aleksandar Hemon is the author of several works of fiction, including _The Question of Bruno_, _Nowhere Man_ and _The Lazarus Project_, and of non-fiction works _The Book of My Lives_ (which includes the devastating essay ‘The Aquarium’, extracted in The New Yorker) and _My Parents: An Introduction_ and _This Does Not Belong to You_. His work as a screenplay writer includes most recently The Matrix Resurrections (co-written with David Mitchell). He was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a ‘Genius’ grant from the MacArthur Foundation. Aleksandar Hemon also writes and records music (EDM) under the name Cielo Hemon. He is Professor of Creative Writing at Princeton University.
